Traditional Neurofeedback:

NEUROFEEDBACK is Biofeedback for the brain. It helps clients learn to re-train their brain to promote growth and change on both cognitive and emotional levels. A computer is used to record an individual's brainwaves. When the person's brainwaves move towards the optimal state, they are rewarded with sounds and/or images by the computer.

NEUROFEEDBACK is a type of self-regulation. It is EMPOWERING and BUILDS AWARENESS.

NEUROFEEDBACK promotes change at the cellular level.

Training your brain is like building up muscle - it takes time and dedication.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LENS & TRADITIONAL NEUROFEEDBACK?

Traditional Neurofeedback works as "Operant Conditioning"...your brainwaves are recorded, and the computer provides you with audio/visual feedback that helps you learn to change your brainwave patterns. Feedback sessions are 20-40 minutes in length.

In LENS Neurofeedback your brainwaves are recorded and analyzed many time per second. The computer than delivers back a tiny amount of stimulation (radio frequency waves) down the wires to your brain, which helps the brain "self-correct". There is nothing for the client to "learn" or practice. Feedback sessions are only seconds long. The radio frequency wave stimulation is much less than what is in the air around us at this time, and millions of times less than what you get from your cell phone.

Sensors are placed on the scalp, and a computer monitors brain activity. Clients are “rewarded” with sound and by movement forward through the canyon each time their brain achieves the desired frequencies.
